The Columbia Blue Devils basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Shenendehowa Plainsmen to 50 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethlehem Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Columbia will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-35 non-league win over Averill Park (Averill Park, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

The Plainsmen (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Blue Streaks enter the Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Saratoga Springs nudged Colonie Central (Albany, NY), 58-56, in a league contest.
