Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Foothill Falcons (Henderson, NV), 75-62 in a league bout.

With the victory, Coronado upgrades its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV) to play the Pioneers in a 5A Southern bout on Friday, February 3. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 8-13. Canyon Springs lost 79-72 in their recent league bout against Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Falcons play the Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern bout, on Friday, February 3. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 74-61 league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV).
