The Fieldcrest Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Midland Timberwolves to 50 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw for a Heart of Illinois contest on Friday, February 3. Fieldcrest will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 47-41 league loss to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-20.

The Timberwolves (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Fighting Irish enter the Tri-County contest with a 22-3 record. In their last contest, Seneca ran past Beecher (Beecher, IL), 73-66, in a non-league contest.
