The Providence Cristo Rey Wolves basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Herron Achaeans to 19 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wolves now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irvington Preparatory Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Providence Cristo Rey will battle a team coming off a 87-35 league loss to Indianapolis Crispus Attucks (Indianapolis, IN). The record now stands at 2-13.
The Achaeans (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Sheridan (Sheridan, IN). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Sheridan was routed by Taylor (Kokomo, IN), 64-53, in a league contest.
