North Carolina High School Basketball - Ridgecroft tops Oakwood

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) and the host Oakwood Eagles (Greenville, NC), saw Ridgecroft's basketball squad knock off Oakwood by a count of 60-41.

With the victory, Ridgecroft upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Eagles play the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent challenge, on Friday, February 3. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 66-56 non-league win over Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA).
