The Thomas Jefferson basketball team (Gretna, LA), was toppled 50-30 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA)
The Comets now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutcher for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2.
The (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Houma Christian (Houma, LA). The Warriors come into the 2A District 9 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Houma Christian beat Fisher (Lafitte, LA), 67-31, in a league battle.
