In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored a tight 58-54 triumph over the Walsingham Academy Trojans.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA) in a Virginia Prep match, on Tuesday, February 7. Veritas Collegiate Academy will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record.
With the defeat, Walsingham Academy moves to 12-12 on the year. The Trojans host St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, February 3.
