Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), 63-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 2-10 on the season. The Vikings travel to Northridge (Greeley, CO) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Northridge lost 44-30 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Loveland, CO)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) in a bout, on Friday, February 3. Wellington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Beetdiggers go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 54-46 league loss to Highland (Ault, CO).
