Illinois High School Basketball - Chicago University knocked off by Bremen

The Bremen Braves basketball team scored 31 points and held the host Chicago University Maroons to 18 in the Braves non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Braves now sport a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban - Red contest on Thursday, February 2. Bremen will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 91-26 league loss to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-25.
The Maroons (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan Park Academy (Chicago, IL). The Warriors enter the Independent School contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Morgan Park Academy ran past British International School of Chicago (Chicago, IL), 50-13, in a non-league contest.
