In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad felled the host Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA), by a margin of 58-39.
The Hornets (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Southeastern outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, King's Fork thwarted Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 79-61, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Salem for a Beach outing on Friday, February 3. Landstown will clash with a Sundevils squad coming off a 58-12 league win over Cox (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils record now stands at 15-3.
