In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Worcester Prep Mallards (Berlin, MD), by a count of 57-19.

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE). The Golden Knights go into the non-league outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Sussex Central was crushed by Polytech (Woodside, DE), 58-16, in a league outing.

The Mallards now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to The Gunston School for a Eastern Shore outing on Tuesday, February 7. Worcester Prep will clash with a Herons squad coming off a 53-13 league loss to Sts. Peter & Paul (Easton, MD). The Herons record now stands at 9-6.
