In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) basketball squad nipped the host St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans (St. Paul, MN), by a margin of 47-41.
The Scots (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against North (North St. Paul, MN). The Polars go into the non-league outing with a 16-3 record. In their last outing, North got by Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 48-36, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host St. Croix Prep for a AA Section 4 outing on Tuesday, February 7. St. Paul Academy-Summit will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 62-49 non-league win over Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN). The Lions record now stands at 11-7.
