The South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) basketball felled the host Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY), 68-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators go into the District 14 test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Greenwood was beaten by Barren County (Glasgow, KY), 64-35, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Todd County Central for a District 13 test on Friday, February 3. Logan County will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 47-45 league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 11-10.
