In Wednesday's league outing, the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), by a margin of 48-21.

The Rams (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Chopticon was trounced by Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 71-28, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host North Point for a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, February 3. Thomas Stone will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 49-34 league win over Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
