With the victory, Rye Cove upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Cumberland challenge on Friday, February 3. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Thomas Walker lost 57-41 in their recent league challenge against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA)

Next up, the Knights play the Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. White Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 64-52 league loss to Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA).
