With the victory, George Wythe upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Grayson County (Independence, VA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Grayson County lost 44-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA)

Next up, the Bruins play the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Blacksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 43-41 non-league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA).
