The Walsingham Academy Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans to 55 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norfolk Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Walsingham Academy will meet a Ambassadors team coming off a 54-48 league loss to Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Ambassadors record now stands at 10-6.

The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cristo Rey (Richmond, VA). The Royals enter the contest with a 2-1 record.
