The Lewis Angapak Blue Jays basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Alakanuk Braves to 37 in the Blue Jays non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Jays now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chief Paul Memorial for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Lewis Angapak will battle a Falcons team coming off a 71-56 non-league loss to Chevak (Chevak, AK). The Falcons record now stands at 14-1.
The Braves (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hooper Bay (Hooper Bay, AK). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Hooper Bay triumphed over Lewis Angapak (Tuntutuliak, AK), 81-48, in a non-league contest.
