In Thursday's non-league outing, the Ash Grove Pirates (Ash Grove, MO) basketball squad felled the host Conway Bears (Conway, MO), by a margin of 88-71.
The Pirates (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Marionville (Marionville, MO). The Comets go into the Southwest outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Marionville thwarted Diamond (Diamond, MO), 73-45, in a league outing.
