Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Midland Park upgrades its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 2-17. Elmwood Park lost 33-28 in their recent non-league bout against Tech (Newark, NJ)

Next up, the play the Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Bergen Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
