The Bethel Wildcats (Shawnee, OK) basketball nipped the visiting Holdenville Wolverines (Holdenville, OK), 55-53 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK). The Savages go into the Freelance test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Tecumseh got by McLoud (McLoud, OK), 72-63, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Konawa for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Holdenville will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 73-28 non-league win over Turner (Burneyville, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.
