In Thursday's league outing, the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), by a margin of 73-52.
The Golden Eagles (7-12) will now prepare for their outing against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Seahawks go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Anacortes smashed Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 76-50, in a league outing.
The Borderites now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they host Mt. Baker for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Monday, February 5. Blaine will clash with a Mountaineers squad coming off a 71-55 league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-17.
