South Dakota High School Basketball - Brookings can't hold off Lincoln

The Lincoln Patriots basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Brookings Bobcats to 59 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sioux Falls Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Lincoln will battle a Chargers team coming off a 90-62 non-league win over Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 14-0.
The Bobcats (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Rough Riders enter the AA contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt nudged Marshall (Marshall, MN), 56-38, in a non-league contest.
