Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA), 60-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ottumwa upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA) to play the Roughriders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Roosevelt won 93-51 in their recent league bout against Mason City (Mason City, IA)

Next up, the Big Reds/Redettes play the Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Savages go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 60-52 league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA).
