The Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars (Turtle Lake, ND) basketball crushed the visiting Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND), 73-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Surrey (Surrey, ND). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Surrey was trounced by Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon (Harvey, ND), 74-57, in a league test.
The now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Flasher for a B District 5 test on Monday, February 5. Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-44 league win over South Heart (South Heart, ND). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-5.
