Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 73-66 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chesterton upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Warsaw (Warsaw, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Warsaw lost 56-54 in their recent league bout against Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN)

Next up, the Wolves play the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Michigan City will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Blazers come into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 69-30 non-league loss to Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN).
