Conard Red Wolves (West Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), 78-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Conard upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Red Wolves travel to Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT) to clash with the Guardians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Guardians go into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley bout, on Friday, February 2. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 101-51 league loss to Wilby (Waterbury, CT).
