Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 65-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Cranston West upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Johnston (Johnston, RI) to play the Panthers in a Division 2 bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Johnston won 48-45 in their recent league bout against Rogers (Newport, RI)

Next up, the Huskies play the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Monday, February 5. Mt. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
