Maryland High School Basketball - Crossland overwhelmed by Fairmont Heights

The Fairmont Heights Hornets basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Crossland Cavaliers to 34 in the Hornets league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to College Park Academy for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Tuesday, February 6. Fairmont Heights will battle a team coming off a 61-18 league loss to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD). The record now stands at 1-12.
The Cavaliers (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Panthers come into the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Parkdale triumphed over High Point (Beltsville, MD), 64-57, in a league contest.
