Arkansas High School Basketball - Deer can't hold off Oark

The Oark Hornets basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Deer Antlers to 42 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Oark will battle a Rebels team coming off a 61-59 league loss to Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 10-18.
The Antlers (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Kingston (Kingston, AR). The Yellowjackets come into the 1A Region 1 East contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Kingston was nudged by Jasper (Jasper, AR), 66-63, in a league contest.
