New York High School Basketball - Edison Tech can't hold off Monroe

The Monroe Red Jackets basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Edison Tech Inventors to 56 in the Red Jackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Jackets now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to School of the Arts for a Section 5 Rochester City - Lower contest on Friday, February 2.

The Inventors (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY). The Royal Comets enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Rush-Henrietta nudged Webster Thomas (Webster, NY), 66-54, in a league contest.
