Indiana High School Basketball - La Porte tipped by Valparaiso

The Valparaiso Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting La Porte Slicers to 61 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hobart for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Valparaiso will meet a Brickies team coming off a 53-47 league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Brickies record now stands at 7-7.

The Slicers (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Kougars enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Kankakee Valley nudged Hobart (Hobart, IN), 53-47, in a league contest.
