With the victory, Southwest improves its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Norborne (Norborne, MO) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Norborne lost 61-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bevier Wildcats (Bevier, MO) in a Tri-County - Northeast challenge, on Friday, February 2. Linn County will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 76-32 league loss to Meadville (Meadville, MO).
