Florida High School Basketball - Marathon crushes Varsity Opponent

Marathon Dolphins (Marathon, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 59-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marathon upgrades its record to 6-18 on the season. The Dolphins travel to Everglades Prep Academy (Homestead, FL) to clash with the Panther in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Panther go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Everglades Prep Academy lost 62-46 in their recent non-league bout against South Miami (Miami, FL)

Next up, the clash with the Atlantic Christian Cougars (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 353-1277 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 79-54 league win over Gloucester County Christian (Sewell, NJ).
