The Moravia Mohawks basketball team (Moravia, IA), was nudged 70-64 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA)
The Warriors now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Trinity Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 3. WACO will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 64-38 league win over Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 14-4.
The Mohawks (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA). The Saints come into the Bluegrass battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Mormon Trail edged Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA), 63-45, in a league battle.
