The Norfork Panthers (Norfork, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR), 58-51 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (9-18) will now prepare for their test against Concord (Concord, AR). The Pirates go into the 1A Region 2 test with a 24-5 record. In their last test, Concord got by Bradford (Bradford, AR), 51-42, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-19 record. They play next when they host Alpena for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Quitman will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 63-35 league loss to Jasper (Jasper, AR). The Leopards record now stands at 12-15.
