Mississippi High School Basketball - Pearl River Central ripped by Pass Christian

The Pass Christian Pirates basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Pearl River Central Blue Devils to 34 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumrall for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Pass Christian will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 61-46 league win over Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 20-3.

The Blue Devils (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region 3 contest with a 12-16 record. In their last contest, West Jones was routed by Meridian (Meridian, MS), 48-44, in a non-league contest.
