Colorado High School Basketball - Thomas MacLaren School succumbs to Peyton

The Peyton Panthers topped the host Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders basketball team by a final score of 52-38 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO) in a 3A/2A Santa Fe game, on Friday, February 2. Peyton will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Meloneers enter the game with a 1-13 record after their 49-48 league loss to Hoehne (Hoehne, CO).

With the defeat, Thomas MacLaren School moves to 7-8 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, February 3. The Lions enter the game with a record of 2-11. Colorado Springs Christian lost 46-43 in their recent league game against St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO)
