Illinois High School Basketball - Round Lake crushes Valeo Academy

Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valeo Academy Fire (Hoffman Estates, IL), 72-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Round Lake upgrades its record to 1-22 on the season. The Panthers host Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL) to clash with the Rams in a Northern Lake County bout on Friday, February 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Grayslake Central won 54-41 in their recent league bout against Antioch (Antioch, IL)
Next up, the Fire clash with the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix (South Holland, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Valeo Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
