The Saranac Spartans basketball team (Saranac, NY), was nudged 49-46 in Thursday's league battle with the host Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY)
The Sentinels now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saranac Lake for a Section 7 Champlain Valley II battle on Monday, February 5. Ticonderoga will battle a Red Storm team coming off a 45-41 league loss to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Red Storm record now stands at 6-7.
The Spartans (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY). The Patriots come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley II battle with a 1-12 record.
