The South Beloit Sobos basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Westminster Christian Warriors to 39 in the Sobos league victory on Thursday.

The Sobos now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Life for a Northeastern contest on Friday, February 2. South Beloit will battle a Eagles team coming off a 65-42 league win over Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 17-5.

The Warriors (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL). The Green Giants come into the Northeastern contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Alden-Hebron was routed by Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL), 58-33, in a non-league contest.
