In Thursday's league outing, the White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), by a count of 68-46.

With the win, White Mountains upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Spartans host Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH) to play the Bears in a Division III bout on Friday, February 2. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Newfound Regional won 39-33 in their recent league bout against Berlin (Berlin, NH)

Next up, the Bears play the Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) in a Division III bout, on Friday, February 2. Winnisquam will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 65-28 league loss to Mascoma (Canaan, NH).
