The East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) basketball felled the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), 55-40 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Kilties now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cranston East for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Mt. Pleasant will encounter a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 61-44 non-league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 8-1.
