In Thursday's league outing, the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) basketball squad beat the host Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD), by a count of 47-33.
The Wildcats (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Waubay/Summit defeated Langford (Langford, SD), 52-47, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Herreid/Selby for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Aberdeen Christian will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 60-58 non-league win over Faith (Faith, SD). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-4.
