Kentucky High School Basketball - Mercer County succumbs to Anderson County

February 1, 2024: Lawrenceburg, KY 40342

The Anderson County Bearcats topped the visiting Mercer County Titans basketball team by a final score of 66-53 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 3. Anderson County will attempt to move on its 19-2 season record.

With the defeat, Mercer County moves to 13-8 on the year. The Titans travel to Burgin (Burgin, KY) to face the Bulldogs in a District 46 game on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 8-11. Burgin lost 72-32 in their recent league game against Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY)
