The Scotus Shamrocks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Aquinas Monarchs to 38 in the Shamrocks non-league victory on Thursday.

The Shamrocks now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kearney Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Scotus will battle a Stars team coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to Adams Central (Hastings, NE). The Stars record now stands at 9-9.

The Monarchs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Christian triumphed over Norris (Firth, NE), 51-38, in a non-league contest.
