Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA), 33-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Archbishop Chapelle upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Chipmunks host Cabrini (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Crescents in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Crescents go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Cabrini lost 46-19 in their recent league bout against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA) in a 4A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Loranger will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The go into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 48-46 league win over Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA).
