Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) and the host Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK), saw Barrow's basketball squad overcome Palmer by a tally of 50-37.

With the victory, Barrow improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to play the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Lynx come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Dimond won 47-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK)

Next up, the Moose play the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 47-32 league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).
