The Trinity Christian Tigers (Hull, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Boyden-Hull Comets (Hull, IA), 40-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record.
The Comets now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Okoboji for a Siouxland test on Friday, February 2. Boyden-Hull will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 71-43 league loss to Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-14.
