The Calvary Christian Academy Knights basketball team (Normal, IL), was overwhelmed 46-17 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL)
The Hawks now possess a 10-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City for a non-league battle on Monday, February 5. Meridian will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 61-45 non-league loss to Flora (Flora, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 15-13.
The Knights (14-9) will now prepare for their battle against Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 0-16 record. In their last battle, Peoria Christian was overwhelmed by Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL), 81-8, in a non-league battle.
